How to Make My Brother MFC Printer Wireless

MFC printers full several document planning functions & including printing, scanning, faxing, other than may not comprise a wireless adapter. If your MFC laser printer is not wireless, that does not automatically mean that you cannot achieve wireless printing with it. As long as you can join your MFC printer to your wireless router, you can give your printer access to your wireless system. Any PC on your wireless network can then utilize the printer for wireless printing.

Note:- Before following the steps below, I do not recommend you doing this unless you are comfortable editing the Windows Settings. Instructions

1. Connect the Ethernet port of the MFC laser printer to one of the Ethernet ports of your wireless router. Confirm that the Internet modem, the wireless router & the MFC printer are all powered on.

2. Open your PC Start Menu by clicking the "create" button on the taskbar. Connect “Devices & Printers.” connect “Add a Printer” at the top of the monitor.

3. Choose the next option to install a wireless or net printer. Highlight your MFC printer from the list of printers your PC detects within range. Connect “Next.”

4. Install the print drivers related with the MFC printer. Insert the fixing CD that came with the MFC printer if pressed. Give your PC agreement to search for the drivers online if you do not have the setting up CD. Click “then” when you accept the verification message that the PC installed the drivers separately.

5. Type in the name you want to associate with your MFC printer in the space provided. Connect “Next.” Select whether to share your printer with others on a network. Click “then.” select whether you want the MFC printer to be your default printer on your PC. Click “Finish.”
